Did you know that foolishness is wrapped up in the heart of a child? Your children are fools and their friends are fools! Watch a group of teens and you'll see fools leading fools. Teach your child to fear God and the foolishness will fade as you replace childish foolishness with God's wisdom. Proverbs 1 - 9 is a father's manual for teaching a child the fear of God. To be a follower of Christ, we must fear God. If we do not fear God, we are not followers of Christ. To fear God is to stand in awe of Him. To be afraid of God is to run away from Him. We need dads who teach their kids how to fear God biblically, who teach their kids the scriptures and refuse to defer this task to anyone else. We need dads who are convinced that the most important thing they can do for their kids is to wholeheartedly reflect a life that longs to please God. This message will help you achieve that goal.
