First Responders Ministry
A small, dedicated team has been formed to reach out to first responders who are involved in serious events while serving their community or are involved in Line of Duty Deaths (LODD). Their first distribution of the First Responder: Wounded Healers CD was after the horrific massacre of Amish children in Lancaster, Pennsylvania. Since then they have connected with first responders in North Carolina, Tennessee, Pennsylvania, and West Virginia. They visited Virginia Tech where they communicated the comfort of Christ to the first responders on the scene of the tragic shooting of 32 people. They distributed CD's and other resources designed to help turn hearts toward our God.
This team will develop this portion of the website with information and links designed to aid fellow first responders.
