Today I will bloom where I am planted.
I may not be able to choose where the seeds fall,
But I can choose how I respond to my surroundings.
I am turning my face toward the sun.
I am taking in all the world has to offer me.
The rain must come. It is a part of the cycle of life.
I will not be discouraged by the storm clouds forming overhead.
After the rain I have grown stronger,
After the rain, my roots have gone deeper,
When the next storm comes I will be better able to withstand the heartache and pain it brings.
Today’s heartache can be changed into the promise of tomorrow.
Its not about the lemons, its about the lemonade.
Brighter days are ahead
If I would only allow myself to bloom where I am planted.
