My Pastor's wife has MS and while she is the one who needs encouragement she has turned the tables on those who serve in the church. She sends cards and notes of encouragement on a regular basis to those who are actively involved in ministries that she can't participate in. What an encouragement to go to the mailbox and find a note from her. I travel with a Christian conference speaker on a regular basis and have to miss my own church services. Instead of the normal "we missed you Sunday card." she often sends me a note to tell me she was praying for my safety and for our services. Sometimes I get a note from her thanking me for being involved in FAITH evangelism at our church. Those notes remind me that in a day when travel is so expensive, we serve a God who cares and impresses others to share that care. That makes it so much easier when I face that gas card bill each month. It also makes me grateful that I serve a God who allows me to be a part of reaching the Kingdom for Him. I feel blessed to have Katrina Morgan as my pastor's wife.
