Help is on the Way

The desperation of the email deserved a quick response (identifying details have been changed). A terrified grandfather needed help. His daughter was losing her battle against drugs so he petitioned the court for custody of her three young children. Instead of being viewed as a knight in shining armor, his grandchildren blamed him for taking them away from their mother. His daughter hated him for interfering with her life. His extended family refused to get involved. So he turned to the MARKINC Ministries Help & Hope audio testimonies, looking for a message to guide him through this foreign land. There he discovered several resources on drug addiction:

Hoping against hope he contacted us through the website and asked if those interviewed would be willing to talk to him. I immediately reached out to Doug and Lindsay Clarke whose stories this grandfather heard. Doug and Lindsay’s response was immediate. Within minutes they connected with him and set up a time to meet. Hope was on the way.

This is one story of how God is using the free resources of MARKINC Ministries.  Perhaps He has touched your life through the Help & Hope audio testimonies. Maybe the Daily Treasure devotional helps you start your day with eyes fixed on Jesus. Maybe you found an answer to a difficult life question through the Ask Dr. Betters videos. Or you subscribe to In His Grip messages.

If MARKINC’s resources have encouraged you in any way, would you prayerfully consider making a donation during #GivingTuesday? Millions of people across the world are taking advantage of this opportunity to “pay it forward”.  If the Lord has earmarked a donation in your budget that He wants you to give to MARKINC, would you join the many others who are demonstrating their thankfulness for ministries like this?

Along with giving, help spread the word about the help and hope of each resource. When you are particularly encouraged by one of the resources, share them on Facebook. Share the MARKINC Facebook messages announcing new resources. We don’t have a marketing budget – we depend on people like you to spread the word!

No gift is too small! Our resources are not free, but you know that they are not really free. Someone has to pay the bill. We are so grateful for every dollar donated all year long. And we hope that many more will catch the vision of MARKINC and see #GivingTuesday as an opportunity to give back so that others can receive the same kind of help and hope that each resource offers.

You can easily donate here!

Treasured by Him,

Sharon
