Securities Giving - When you gift stock and other securities, your donation is a gift of Hope that is a win-win for you and MARKINC without taking cash directly out of your bank account. When you give appreciated securities you have held more than one year directly to MARKINC through your broker, the value of your gift is the fair market value of the security on the date it is transferred instead of your basis. The advantage is that you will NOT have a taxable long term capital gain and you WILL get a tax deduction for the donation. As you know, MARKINC started as a broadcast on WVCH thirty years ago. Every day for almost thirty years, we aired In His Grip (preaching and teaching) and Gripping Thoughts multiple times each day, Sunday – Saturday. WVCH was sold and the platform changed. One door that has opened is the opportunity to air In His Grip on WNWR (AM and FM) starting March 18th, 2024. WNWR covers an even wider territory than WVCH, so the opportunity to offer the help and hope of Jesus through the solid preaching of God’s Word is even greater. Doesn’t it feel appropriate that during our 30th year anniversary, we go back to where we started – airing the Word of God on a local radio station?
Everything about MARKINC is designed to help turn hearts toward Jesus through the beauty and truth of God’s Word. The preaching of the Word is our ministry's foundation stone, and we are humbled that what started thirty years ago through MARKINC Ministries has helped to keep hope alive too so many.
