What She Said! - Part 2

Sharon Betters

TODAY’S TREASURE

For this very reason, make every effort to supplement your faith with virtue, and virtue with knowledge, and knowledge with self-control, and self-control with steadfastness, and steadfastness with godliness, and godliness with brotherly affection, and brotherly affection with love.

1 Peter 2:5-7 ESV

Dear Friends,

It’s so good to have Sherry Bitler back as our Guest Writer this week. Sherry and I have been doing life together for over twenty-five years. We have prayed for one another through thick and thin. We encourage one another in this season of life, no matter how limited our lives seem, that our worth is not in what we do but in “whose” we are.

Sherry’s diagnosis of Multiple Sclerosis has made this truth even more precious as she continues to navigate a strange land of limitations. I love how Sherry rests in the pathway on which God has placed her and is always watchful for opportunities to offer the love of Jesus, especially to young moms. She doesn’t neglect her older friends in her quest for community and to experience what it means to be ever growing, ever green.

Sherry writes through a challenging grid and she shares insights which will encourage you in your own walk of faith, no matter if you’re just starting out or you’re a seasoned pilgrim. I’m so grateful Sherry is in my life and I know you will be glad to welcome her into yours through her writing.

Treasured by Him,

Sharon
